IRVINE — November 2, 2026. All three branches of Irvine Public Library list closures for November 11, November 26 and November 27, and modified hours on the day before Thanksgiving.
What changes in November
The city schedule lists November 11, Veterans Day, as closed and November 25 as a shortened day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The three branches will be closed on Thanksgiving and the following Friday. Regular weekend hours resume subject to future advisories.
Hours between holidays
Heritage Park, University Park and Katie Wheeler libraries normally open until 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with 9 a.m.–5 p.m. weekend access. The three branches have different addresses but share the stated standard schedule.
Before a trip
Patrons with due dates, printing or meeting-room needs should use the city’s current holiday calendar and call 949-724-4444. Some online calendars can display a default weekly pattern even when an officially posted holiday exception applies.
