IRVINE, Calif. — Orange County election officials have scheduled a one-day mobile Vote Center for Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center, 9 Truman Street in Irvine. It is part of the county’s pop-up voting program ahead of the November 3 general election.
What voters can do at the pop-up center
According to the Orange County Registrar of Voters, the mobile unit provides the same core voting services as a regular Vote Center. Eligible county voters may cast an in-person ballot, drop off a completed vote-by-mail ballot, request a replacement ballot, register or update their registration under the applicable conditional-registration process, and ask for voting assistance. The event is open to Orange County voters; it is not limited to members of the host organization.
Other Irvine voting locations and hours
Residents who cannot visit the October 29 pop-up have additional options. Three regular Irvine locations have been open since October 24: Irvine Civic Center, 1 Civic Center Plaza; Los Olivos Community Center, 101 Alfonso; and Portola Springs Community Center, 900 Tomato Springs. The county’s official directory lists more Irvine centers scheduled to open on Saturday, October 31, including Great Park Artist Studios, Irvine Valley College, Northwood Community Center and several other sites. A separate UCI Verano Place center is listed for Election Day only.
Regular Orange County Vote Centers operate 10 a.m.–6 p.m. through November 2 and 7 a.m.–8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3. The mobile pop-up has its own shorter 10 a.m.–5 p.m. schedule on October 29; do not confuse those hours.
Before leaving home
Use the Registrar’s official Vote Center location list for addresses and changes. The pop-up schedule lists other one-day stops in San Juan Capistrano on October 31 and Santa Ana on November 2. For assistance, call 888-OCVOTES (888-628-6837).
